The place known as Las Tablas de Daimiel
was declared National Park on ño
1973, Biosfera Reserve on 1981, and included in the Ramsar
Protocolo on 1982.
Is the last place where we will be
able to visit an ecosystem called "Tablas Fluviales", that means
places where the rivers has flood because of the lack of
inclination of the terrain. The declaration of this place
as Natural Park was decisive to protect an area where you
can fin animals close to extinction, and their place to
stay on winter. The plants of this area are adapted
to extreme conditions, snow on winter and heat on summer.
All these factors make this place
to have different plants, which creates from mediterranean
woods to the common view of drier places. You can find
many differences among them on small areas.
